The Team
David Ewin - Steering wheel attendant
David (pictured on the left) is a Cumbrian farmer, a former oval racer and a lifelong rallycross fan. He began to compete in rallycross in 2004 in a Fiesta xr2, and has since competed in a variety of Fiestas, the latest of which is a rwd Fiesta mk3. Throughout this time he has achieved 5 class wins, and secured 2nd place in class in the 2015 and 2016 race seasons. None of this could have been achieved however without the help of Peter and Stuart, as David is a mechanical numpty - thanks you two! |
Peter Singleton (Singy) - Chief Mechanic
Peter looks after the day to day running of the cars, and is responsible for all of the technical upgrades. Peter is a mechanical genius and fabricator extraordinaire. He has many years motorsport experience, working on rally and short oval cars as well as being involved with our team since the very start. Peter built the first Stockhatch car, and also the RS1800, and is now responsible for both of the current team cars. |
Stuart Marston - Mechanic (bodywork expert) Stuart’s main role is keeping the cars looking good, and he normally has some work to do after every meeting. He is also often called to do general repairs too and can turn his hand to most jobs. Stuart has also been involved with the team since day one, going to pick the first team car up, and stripping it back to a bare shell. Whatever time of day or night he is called upon Stuart will be there. He was the driving force behind an overnight gearbox change before a Knockhill meeting. |
Jordine Wadge - Media, Website, and PR
Jordine is in charge of the public face of the team, and looks after all the promotional material including this website. Jordine has been involved with rallycross all her life, officiating and helping out at events - she even competed in her first event in 2015 and raced our FWD Fiesta in the final round of the BTRDA Championship in 2016, beating David in his RWD. |
